The scenic, private retreat at Long Hollow is 16 miles from both Hesperus and Durango, Colorado. Two adjacent parcels of 39 & 37 acres (76 acres total) overflow with features that appeal to seekers of a quiet, natural setting surrounded by wildlife, forest, views, and lots of sky. An outstanding part of two end-of-the-road parcels is a spring-fed creek flowing through—rare in Southwest Colorado.

An off-grid, solar-powered cabin (circa 1984) is located on the north parcel, along Long Hollow Creek, which is a spring-fed stream that has run all year as far back as anyone remembers. The cabin is stick-built and stuccoed with a corrugated metal roof. It’s about 610+ sq ft with a loft/attic. It is offered “as is” only. It is currently used as a residence, but could work well as a seasonal getaway for summer recreation or hunting. It has lots of possibilities for a person with carpentry skills.
